The Next Fitness Revolution
Montara is a first-of-its-kind fitness event designed to unite fitness enthusiasts on a common platform where they can challenge their physical and mental limits while inspiring a culture of health and wellness.
The event aims to promote the importance of fitness as a way of life and encourage individuals from all walks of life to embrace a healthier lifestyle for the betterment of themselves and society. Set amidst natural terrain, Montara celebrates resilience, endurance, strength, and determination by taking participants beyond the confines of conventional fitness competitions.
Each of the 10 uniquely designed challenges has been carefully crafted to test different aspects of physical fitness while accommodating participants across varying levels of ability. Every challenge draws inspiration from the surrounding landscape, creating an authentic and immersive experience that connects competitors with nature as they progress through the course.
At its core, Montara is not merely about identifying the fastest or strongest athlete. It is about recognizing courage, perseverance, and personal achievement. Every participant is celebrated based on their individual performance, making the event inclusive, rewarding, and motivating for athletes of all skill levels.

The format
From the gun
to the grind
Ten stages. Five fixed stations. One continuous uphill test.
Run the opening 100 m uphill stretch.
Complete 200 skips to move forward.
Haul the tyre uphill—22–25 kg for women and 30–35 kg for men.
Men complete 50 reps; women complete 25.
Individuals carry a 25 kg mudgal for men or 20 kg for women. Doubles categories complete the partner carry.
Grip and hold for the full 120 seconds.
Complete a 50 m quadruped crawl uphill.
Sit and hold in a squat position for 120 seconds.
Run the final free 50 m uphill stretch to the summit station.
Men complete 30 reps; women complete 20. The finish bell awaits beyond the final rep.
